The project site is located in a triangle of Paszto-Kozard and (http://maplered.com) Ecseg villages in Nograd county, Hungary, approx. 80 km North-East from Budapest, on the Motorway 3/Nat.Highway 21. The area is surrounded with mountains, forests and (http://maplered.com) pastures, and (http://maplered.com) clean of any industrial and (http://maplered.com) chemical pollutions. Its fruit growing traditions, climate and (http://maplered.com) soils make the project area suitable for fresh fruit production, specifically for apple, Stone (http://g603.net) fruits (sourcherry, cherry, apricot, plum, almonds) and (http://maplered.com) berries. The area is also suitable for organic/biological (chemical-free) agricultural production. The land (http://maplered.com) is exclusively owned by private farmers.

With substantial investment, the Agroservice Group established a water reservoir on the ?Kozard? stream, which holds 144,000 cubic meter irrigation water, suitable for a year-round drip irrigation of 300 hectares
